Have you ever been out on a sailboat past the horizon? It's not hard - maybe 12 miles and then it's just you and the ocean, and the silence of the creaking waves and straining ropes.

Then I think about not only how ancient but how renewable it all is, using the wind to go from Gloucester to London. That's all what I like to tap into when I draw my sailboats: just infinite permutations of an infinite resource.
