As an artist based in Gloucester, Massachusetts, America's oldest seaport, Jon incorporated imagery of fish and fishing boats into many of his pieces.

Drawings on old record sleeves comprise Jon Sarkin’s most iconic body of work. Mixed-media pieces on the backs of vinyl album covers, up-cycled directly from the free shelf at the legendary Mystery Train Records.
